FIRST BOUTIQUE ORDER!

FIRST BOUTIQUE ORDER!

From K&S Boutique in Mosman. Side by side with camillaandmarc and LOVER!
Couldn't be happier!

All thanks to my beautiful friend Bianca Keys, I feel as though ENOUGH has had breakthrough!

On Saturday morning I walked into just another boutique, as I do every Saturday morning. A little nervous as per usual, with my lookbook and business card, I strike up a conversation.

Bianca, amazingly has done the ground work for me and talked ENOUGH up incredibly.
"Do you have an order form" she asks?

And the rest is history!

I dropped off 20 garments that afternoon and will do another drop in 2 weeks time.

Sigh... the hard work is paying off and I couldn't be happier!

Yours truly,
Over the moon.

Anna Dello Russo

Anna Dello Russo.
A Woman? An Editor? A Brand?
Dello Russo was creative consultant and editor at large of Japanese Vogue.
Now however, she is 'She'... that person with the outlandish personality and incredibly unique dress sense. The role is 24/7. Job description: simply being Anna Dello Russo, woman of a thousand outfits—never a single one repeated.
Hmm... jealous much? God, I am!
Dello Russo is more than a woman. She is a brand.
Dello Russo HAS her own fragrance...

HAD a line of limited-edition T-shirts (now sold-out), and NOW, an accessories line with H&M.

She even released a single, "Fashion Shower," to accompany its debut.

Attn: All (stylish) Travellers.

ENOUGH's women love to travel.
We love to see the world; walk in anothers shoes; open our eyes to the unknown; eat the unexpected; soak up the different cultures...
We also love to travel in style!
Now, there are 300 million pounds of single-use plastic garment bags that clog landfills and waterways... sooo naturally I think we ought to do something about that!
LVValextra & Faconnable all understand my need for a great, stylish, reusable, functional garment bag.

Now it's my turn.
It is my mission to design a bag similar to the above, yet a little more affordable... maybe even free with purchase ;)

Fare thee well D&G!

Fare thee well D&G!

D&G is closing down. The line that appeared to fly off the shelves and into the closests owned by the rich and wealthy is kaput; finito; no longer.

Dolce & Gabbana have made their decision to kill off their 2nd line(D&G), supposedly the cash cow of any luxury brand.

Reason being, they are taking a step back in order to focus on the more luxurious and far more costly main collection.

Their dream: "To build a house like Chanel - i'm talking old Chanel - where you're dressing real women and speaking to the cusomters directly, that was always the idea, even 27 years ago when we first started. Maybe now, little by little, we're getting there."

Dolce and Gabbana clearly don't like sticking to rules, so it made sense that they didn't follow the crowd & show in Paris with the rest of the Fashion houses. Sicily, where Dolce was raised & the pair met, recently held their couture show. 'If you do something really special, the world will come to see it' & they definitely did.

They commandeered 3x hotels for their guests over a long weeked. There was opera, fireworks, parties & of course a couture show.

35 seamstresses in white coats and black collars were there too; bowed over hundreds of metres of hand-woven lace and velvet embroidered with real Venetian gold thread.

For a company that started 26 years ago, they are doing exceptionally well - generating 1.3 billion in the year 2011. The company is still owned 100% by Dolce and Gabbana and they have deserved themselves the right to do what they like. And this is what they like.

Congratulations!

It’s now time to reflect.

Fashion week has come and gone. New York, Milan, Paris... have all been fabulous hosts.

It’s now time to reflect. Not necessarily on the designs but the atmospheres.

There is something magical that happens when a fashion parade commences.

The music, clothes, sets, props, lighting...

I was a dancer... and have always made sure I see the current musical in town... but neither equate to the experience of a runway.

The creative splurges that coexist with the sly subtleties that goes unseen. The preparation and sleepless nights... Model auditions, seat plans, refreshments, gifts for the guest, photography, shoe size, dress fittings, styling, make up… the list goes on.

It All Equates To This.
